PB&J Family Services: Holiday gifts needed: gift certificates, toys, educational books, clothing, blankets, bath towels, pots and pans, food, baby needs, volunteer time per COVID-19 practices, monetary donations. Project Connect: This year Elisabeth Lucero-Serna, Counselor at APS, started a fundraiser called Project Connect to help students and their families with internet connection. New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services: Requesting help with Operation Cheer. Participants send out Holiday Cheer by mailing cards to residents and staff of the New Mexico State Veterans Home. Valencia Shelter for Domestic Violence: Needs food donations (canned good, grocery store gift cards), hats, gloves, gift cards (Wal-Mart, Target, etc.) to give to families for the holidays. These goods can be dropped off at 445 Camino Del Rey, Ste. E, Los Lunas, NM, 87031. The shelter has also established a wishlist for gifts on Amazon.com.
