We ran an article last Friday bemoaning what we thought was the fact that the legislative session that ended Thursday would be the last for Sen. Jerry Ortiz y Pino, Rep. Debbie Armstrong. and Rep. Karen Bash. Careful readers have informed us that Sen. Ortiz y Pino plans to serve until his term is up — meaning he plans to serve until 2024.
We’re glad to be wrong, in this case, and welcome the Senator’s continued leadership in the sessions to come. Yet we still bemoan the loss of the Representatives.
