Instructions/requirements for collecting signatures:
- Each voter that signs the petition needs to be registered as a Democrat.
- The signee should print and then sign their name as it appears on the voter registration rolls. (For example, ‘Bill’ may be registered as ‘William.’)
- If two or more people from the same household sign, they need to fill out the address each time.
- No other marks beyond what the signee is required to enter can be on the sheets.
Folks make mistakes about their registered address and party registration–get any signatures you can in good faith, and the campaign will go online to verify everything.
