Abby Foster is 2nd Vice Chair of the Bernalillo County Democratic Party. Before serving as 2nd Vice Chair, Abby served as Precinct Chair and ran for Albuquerque City Council. Abby became active in politics after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022.
Abby is an attorney specializing in adult guardianship and child welfare law. She also has extensive experience in mediation, legal editing, and journalism. She holds a bachelor’s in Chemistry from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a JD from Penn State. A Maryland native, Abby moved to Albuquerque in 2014, where she and her spouse David are raising two sons.
