07/07/2026 - New federal data on Affordable Care Act enrollment just dropped, and it is stark. After the enhanced subsidies expired on January 1, ACA enrollment across the country fell by 2.6 million people. Working people are losing coverage across America and its all Republican's fault. But New Mexico? We wouldn't allow that to happen. New Mexico was the exception across the entire Nation. We are the only state where ACA, enrollment increased—by 14 percent.

03/30/2026 - New Mexico has passed several bills advancing firearm safety: background checks bills, an Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPO)/red flag law, and a seven day waiting period law. Last session a policy that is a basic Democratic platform tenet–semiautomatic firearm and high-capacity magazine restrictions–failed despite a Democratic trifecta lasting eight years.
