DPBC Website Update

If you have visited the bernalillodems.org website as recently as this past weekend, you may have noticed that pages other than the home page take you to the beta version of our new website.

This weekend (Friday evening through Sunday), the final stages of the process will take place. Consequently, the main front page and some resources will be temporarily unavailable. However, parts of the website will continue to be available, including:

The upgrade is not likely to last the whole weekend, but some portions may require Domain Name Services across the Internet to update for links to work, which can take a day or two.

The new site has been modernized to create a cleaner, more user-friendly experience. Pages have been redesigned to provide more interactive access to important information. However, bookmarks you may have saved will probably no longer work. If, after Sunday, you experience a file-not-found error, we recommend going to bernalillodems.org, navigating to the desired page, and updating the bookmark.

While much of this work was completed in the late summer, the rollout was delayed because we didn’t want to disrupt the current site during the critical run-up to the national election.
