Democrats! Plan to Zoom in when Bernalillo County Ward 11B presents a forum featuring the two leading candidates for Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico: State Senator Harold Pope, Jr. and Commissioner of Public Lands Stephanie Garcia Richard. The forum will begin with opening remarks from New Mexico’s current Lieutenant Governor, Howie Morales, who will share insights into the responsibilities of the office and what voters should consider as they evaluate the candidates.

Happening Sunday, July 12 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, the forum will be a great opportunity to hear from these candidates and learn first-hand their reasons for running and the qualifications they each believe they can bring to the office. Not only will you be informed, you’ll also be supplied with a way to communicate your thoughts to the SCC prior to their final choice of nominee.
